WedWise was born while Sanya planned her own wedding with Innayat as her planner.
She quickly noticed a gap: beautiful outcomes, but clunky, manual processes behind the scenes.
Using tools from her Investment Banking career, Sanya turned her wedding planning into a calm, structured process.
After the wedding, she decided to transform her own spreadsheets into one simple platform, that could be used by planner's and couples globally to simplify their own process.
As a veteran in the industry with over 20 years of experience, Innayat has remained her trusted mentor and advisor - giving feedback and providing industry expertise to the WedWise platform.

Sanya Ahmed is the Founder of WedWise and brings over 7 years of corporate finance experience from J.P. Morgan, Cera, and PureHealth to the wedding industry. Currently managing a $5bn+ M&A pipeline at PureHealth (UAE's largest healthcare platform), Sanya previously advised on strategic transactions >$30bn at J.P. Morgan and served as the youngest-ever appointee to Cera's Strategic Leadership Team.
The inspiration for WedWise came from planning her own destination wedding while executing complex corporate deals, where she recognized how corporate-grade project management could transform the traditionally chaotic wedding planning process.
With expertise in M&A execution, process optimization, and stakeholder coordination—Sanya uniquely understands how to bring transparency and efficiency to complex, multi-party processes.
A London School of Economics graduate living across the UK, UAE and Pakistan; Sanya brings a global perspective to wedding planning and aims to introduce the same level of sophistication that drives billion-dollar transactions to life's most important celebrations.
Violeta Alonso is Wedwise’s Chief Product Officer. With over a decade of experience in developing cutting edge products for Apps and Websites, Violeta has worked across a range of industries from banking to luxury e-commerce. While she worked at Barclays, Violeta led on strategic initiatives for digital banking, including key partnerships with Amazon to develop Buy-Now-Pay-Later products. Violeta also worked at the Yoox Net-A-Porter group where she managed the e-commerce Apps for millions of customers and developed key innovation projects.
Violeta is a specialist in digital experience and product development having both created Apps and Websites from scratch and revitalised existing channels. She provides a bridge between technology and business to provide experiences that are beautiful, intuitive and practical- with the customer always at the heart.
A London School of Economics graduate, Violeta is based between London and Spain and brings Wedwise on-the-ground experience to digitise the wedding industry!
Innayat Khubchandani is the Founder and Creative Director of InnazCommunique, an events company specializing in destination weddings, corporate events, and other ventures related to the hospitality industry.
A Swiss Hotel Management School graduate with deep hospitality industry roots, Innayat started in the events space in 2006 and has planned >800 events across Europe, Middle East and Asia. His work has earned prestigious recognition including the DWP ACE Planner Domestic Award (Asia Pacific).
The vision for joining WedWise stems from Innayat's belief that exceptional wedding planning requires both creative artistry and operational excellence. Having witnessed how the industry often lacks efficiency, he recognized the need for a platform that could bring corporate-grade project management to luxury celebrations, giving him more time to focus on creative direction and delivering world-class hospitality.
With expertise in cross-cultural event design, vendor coordination across multiple countries, and managing high-stakes celebrations for prominent families—Innayat understands the complexities of delivering flawless experiences under pressure.
